West Loop

Dining in the West Loop is always an adventure. For a great date, try out Fulton Market restaurant Next, the second restaurant of Chef Grant Achatz’s (the only three start Michelin chef in Chicago).  The food is out of this world, but the only way to get in the restaurant is a ticket, and they are incredibly hard to get!

The restaurant depth in the neighborhood is fantastic. Definitely check out Greek Town stalwarts Greek Islands (Photo 1) and Athena for some flaming saginaki, rack of lamb, and gyros.  If Greek food isn’t your thing, that’s not to worry, head over to Randolph Street and try Girl & The Goat (Photo 2) or Blackbird; that is if you can get a reservation.  Try Vivo or Piccolo Sogno for an intimate Italian meal, Pasha for tapas, and Publican (Photo 3) for a fancier brunch and great American food. If you’re looking for something more casual, roll up your sleeves and head to biker bar Twisted Spoke, where you can feast on a monster burger, or if it’s breakfast food you crave, the Palace Grill is a must.
