West Loop

The West Loop is home to one of the more recognizable structures in Chicago, The United Center (Photo 1 & 2).  It is home to the Chicago Blackhawks and the Chicago Bulls, and the atmosphere inside on game day is truly remarkable.  From the spine tingling national anthem at the Hawks games to the fans cheering on the defense at Bulls games, the United Center is a place worth going to again and again.  The United Center also hosts a variety of other events such as concerts, circuses, rodeos and monster truck shows.

The West Loop also contains plenty of cultural activities to try out as well.  The area is well-known for its art galleries.  Whether you are out to purchase a new piece of art or simply there to admire it, there are dozens of art galleries for you to see. If you are into festivals, the West Loop features the famous Pitchfork Music Festival (Photo 3), the Taste of Randolph Street and the Randolph Street Market Festival.
