The Loop
While the Loop is known more for having a “work hard” attitude more than a “play hard” one, don’t let that discourage you from living here. Due to its central location, you get the best of all the surrounding neighborhoods only a few blocks away. To the north you have all the happenings of Hubbard Street, to the west the swanky lounges in the Fulton Market district, and to the south all the neat neighborhood bars in printers row. Over the summer, however, you don’t have to walk very far at all to get to one of the hottest spots in the city. On the corner of State and Lake sits the Wit Hotel, which has the hottest rooftop bar in the city. If you want to grab a drink and take in the breathtaking views, be prepared to wait in line or get there early, especially if the weather is cooperating.
