The Loop

The Loop is a cultural hub in the city of Chicago.  If you are interested in catching a play, concert or even an opera, the Loop is the place to be, calling itself home to Chicago’s theatre district.  The Goodman, Chicago, Oriental, Cadillac Palace, and Auditorium Theatre are just a few of the many famous Chicago theatres in the area.  The Lyric Opera House and The Chicago Symphony Orchestra are also located within the Loop, for those of you who have a more classical taste in your entertainment options.  If art galleries are more to your liking, the Loop is home to the Art Institute of Chicago, one of the most famous art galleries in the world.  For those of you that tend to enjoy outdoor activities, the Loop is home to some of Chicago’s most popular street fests and concerts.   Among these events are The Taste of Chicago, where hundreds of Chicago based restaurants set up shop in Grant Park and showcase their food to the public, and Lollapalooza, a three day concert event that boasts some of the hottest, most famous bands year in and year out.  Whatever it is you may fancy, the Loop has a little bit of it all, and being in the center of Chicago, everything else is just a short train ride away.
