Lakeview/Wrigleyville

There are so many restaurants in Lakeview, that if you went out for dinner every night, you could try out new restaurants for years!  It’s not just the sheer number of restaurants in the area that make dining in this neighborhood so great; it’s also the variety of cuisines you have to select from.  If you’re venturing down Clark Street, you have your choice of numerous cuisines, from Middle Eastern to Tapas; there is something for every pallet.  As you get closer to Wrigley Field, there seems to be a Bar & Grill every 100 feet, all serving delicious pub fares.

A few notable favorites of ours are the wings from Yak-Zies, the Mac ‘n Cheese pizza from University of Wisconsin transplant Ian’s Pizza (Photo 1), or an exotic burger with a side of truffle fries from DMK Burger bar (Photo 2).  One of the awesome features of Chicago is the amount of BYOB establishments throughout the city.  There is a strong concentration of these in Lakeview, with Tango Sur (Photo 3), an Argentinean Steak house and Miss Asia, a Pan-Asian favorite.
