The nightlife in Lakeview is among the best in Chicago. The area is lined with bar after bar, with each having their own hint of charm to distinguish it from the others. Vine’s on Clark and Red Ivy (Photo 1) are popular among residents, boasting reasonably priced drinks in a more upscale take on the typical sports bar. For a Southern flair, Thursday’s at Houndstooth (Photo 2) is country night, an unforgettable time. During the summer, if you want to escape from the mass of Cubs fans, try walking down Sheffield to Mad River or the Kirkwood Bar and Grill (Photo 3). No matter what you’re looking for, a night in these neighborhoods do not disappoint.
