Lakeshore East
Lakeshore East’s proximity to the Loop, River North, and Streeterville means that a car is not necessary to get to many of the city’s most popular destinations. The neighborhood is aided by great access to trains and buses. With the Red, Brown, and Purple Lines at the corner of State St. and Lake St. and the Blue Line (O’Hare Airport) at the corner of Clark St. and Lake St., residents can make it anywhere in the city for just over two dollars. The area is also surrounded by numerous bus lines, most notably the express ones on Michigan Ave.
